Gungoren

Güngören is a district located in Istanbul, Turkey. Güngören is well known for its industrial areas and factories, it also has several historical and cultural landmarks such as the Güngören Castle which is a medieval castle and an important architectural heritage of the district. Another important landmark is the Güngören Ottoman Cemetery which is one of the oldest cemeteries in Istanbul and has several tombs of Ottoman dignitaries. In terms of transportation, Güngören is well connected by metro and tramway options. The metro line M1A and the tramway T4 passes through Güngören connecting it to other parts of the city.
