The uber modern Marmaray railway system provides easy access to the old city and city centre and is a short walk away. The M1A metro line (old city) is being expanded to this region, as well as the M7 (City centre-Besiktas) metro line. Both are expected to finish by 2024. Most locals make there way to Bakirkoy for its excellent range of shopping options or Atakoy Marina, for evening dining and relaxation.
