Basaksehir continues to develop apace, as the prime favourite of Istanbul’s suburban middle classes. Kicked off with the huge Mall of Istanbul, this quarter of Basaksehir is now adding the world famous Hilton brand.
The investment of Hilton shows the growing confidence in the region as a self sustaining town centre in its own right. Boosted by its proximity to the new airport, the middle classes have invested heavily in the region. The Olympic stadium and Olympic complex was also built here 10 years ago along with a brand new metro – M3 Bakirkoy line.
The tower itself is built by one of Istanbul’s best known brands, renowned for building ultra luxurious villas and apartments in prime locations.
Architecturally the tower sticks out in the silhouette of Basaksehir providing 360 degrees views of Istanbul, and indeed the Kucukcekmece lake. A large lobby will provide waiting space for guests with a 5 star gourmet restaurant and cafe.
The complex is directly on the TEM highway and Media Highway junction, providing easy car access to all parts of the city. The M3 metro sits ready and connects locals to the city centre in Sisli/Besiktas via the M7 line, and Bakirkoy to the south via the M3 extension line – the station is directly outside.
