This mixed use complex rises at the centre of Esenyurt, at its most important interchange point – where all forms of transport meet. Forming part of the Esenyurt square project, the ground level will be dedicated to forming part of a larger open air public square.
The complex itself is a low rise one, a rarity for Esenyurt, where the norm is 30 – 40 storey buildings. Facilities have not suffered, with peaceful landscaped gardens just for the residents, and full family facilities.
Offices will form an important part of this complex, meaning modern business facilities will also be available. This complex will be a hive of activity, especially once the square project completes.
This modern public square is aimed at organising Esenyurt’s vast public services in one place. Major public investment is being made here, with the local municipality constructing a large and modern headquarters on the neighbouring parcel, a major university is also on a neighbouring parcel.
A metro line into central Istanbul is currently under construction and due for delivery in 2019 – Esenyurt’s station will be within this square, meaning residents will be within walking distance. This metro line passes through all of Istanbul’s major commercial districts, and providing a single transfer to the touristic regions as well.
Istanbul’s current airport is a short distance away, and the new airport will also be just 25 minutes from Esenyurt in 2019.
